Putting Greens Ontario blog

After travelling for a while it is good to be back home. I often think that the grass is greener elsewhere, yet as I return home I find that things look pretty good at home. The same can be said for for my local club, Blackhorse Golf and Country resort. It is nice to play other courses but always a challenge to play at home. It has been a wonderful season thus far, and I expect that the following months will be even better.It feels like home when you know the membership, and look forward to the banter you have come to expect. The fun in playing on mens night is something I cannot find in playing other courses. I believe that comes from familiarity of my local course. I know the greens, where to avoid trouble, and where to be aggresive. I also know that whomever I am playing with also has this knowedge and that it will be an interesting round.I also have come to expect a great deal of laughter and fun on the course as well as in the clubhouse. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy playing other courses,but it is good to be home.
